The end of the year typically forces us to remember the highs and lows of the previous year and set some unrealistic goals for the following one.
We usually call them “New Year’s Resolutions”, but more often than not, they end up being “Things I Should Do This Year but Probably Won’t”. Don’t get me wrong, I’m guilty of this too. I don’t know how many times I have made a resolution to go to the gym five times a week or to go to church every Sunday or to call my family more often (jk they actually probably don’t want me to call any more than I already do). I usually end up doing these things halfway. I’ll make it to the gym three times a week or I’ll make it to church every other Sunday.
Things come up and life is busy, so I’m not faulting anyone (or myself) for not following through on these New Year’s Resolutions.
I’m just not making any this year. Instead, I’ve decided to make a bucket list. Things I want to do at some point in my life, not necessarily this year. Items with a star are things that I would ideally like to complete this year, but if not, then completing them at some point in my life is good enough for me.

It is appropriate time to make some plans for the future and it is time
to be happy. I have read this post and if I could I wish
to suggest you some interesting things or advice.
Perhaps you could write next articles referring to this article.
I wish to read more things about it!

I’m actually completing one of my bucket list items starting in a few weeks… hiking 500 miles on the El Camino de Santiago. So cheers to checking of items on our lists! I would also love to see the balloon festival in New Mexico (hoping to indulge in that one this year) and hike Rainbow Mountain in Peru. Ughhh… so many things, so little time. Love following along on your adventures!
Oh my gosh that’s amazing!! I bet that is going to be an amazing journey and I can’t wait to follow along your journey!
